Pumpkin Carving/Painting

Haleigh had so much fun carving the pumpkin! As always we had her draw a face on it and Rigel cut it out. This year she drew "the hundred eyed pumpkin", although it only had 5 eyes!

Even though the top was off we still couldn't see into the pumpkin. The walls were super thick with very little goopy insides. We didn't even get to keep any of the seeds :(

Phase 2 of pumpkin night is painting the "princess pumpkins" This was my trick to getting her to leave the pumpkin patch.....on the way out she could pick out a couple of "princess pumpkins". Slap the word princess in front of anything and suddenly it is a million times better and more exciting! :) Parenting a 4 year old girl 101!
