The Pumpkin Patch - Stoney Ridge

This year's trip to Stoney Ridge turned out great! The weather was so nice and sunny and both kids seemed to have a great time. We let Haleigh pick a friend to go with so she would have someone to run around with, so she picked her friend from school, Halle.
Haleigh and Halle. Believe it or not they are the same age (only a few months apart). Now you can all see through pictures how small Haleigh really is (5th percentile!:) )

Just arriving and we are so excited to get started!
Ashton slept through the middle portion..... This is where he is just waking up after we picked our pumpkin.
Haleigh is in love with animals, especially ponies. It wasn't easy getting her out of there!

Teaching Ashton how to drive a train. He is concentrating very hard!

After about 900 tries this is the best shot of the two of them with our prized pumpkin!

By the way......Rigel says this outfit is "embarrassing for the poor kid" What do you think, embarrassing or cute and cozy?

Picking our apples......
and taking a giant juicy bite!

Ashton the Stander - 7.5 months

Ashton LOVES to stand, he will pull himself up on anything and everything. We are thinking he is going to end up being an early walker. He is tyring so hard to keep up with Haleigh he can hardly stand it! I have even seen him let go and stand without holding on for a few seconds at a time. He is a little dare devil!

Matching Hats

Haleigh wanted to wear her baseball hat to Nana's house, but she insisted that Ashton wear her old one so they would match! :)

Laundry Time....

This is Ashton helping with the laundry! :) Daddy was trying to put some clothes in to wash and didn't have anywhere to set him so he went in with the whites! :)

CONCERTS!

There is nothing we love to do more than go to good concerts.....Between going with my mom and going with Rigel, I have been to a pretty good amount. We usually make it our mission to get there early enough (for general admission shows) that we are able to stand against the stage and we usually end up staying late enough at the end to meet the artist and get an authograph. Doesn't work with everyone, but we have managed to do pretty good. Here a few pictures from a few that we have been to this year......hopefully more to come!

Duffy at the Showbox with my mom

My mom and Jewel at the Moore

Brandi Carlile with my mom and Rigel at Mt. Baker Theater. This was the third time saw her, she puts on a great show and we can't wait to see her again!

Kings of Leon at the Paramount Theater with Rigel.....This was BY FAR the best show that I have seen. We first saw them when they opened for U2, but since then we have seen them three more times. Twice at the Moore and once at the Paramount. They put on an unbelievable show! If you haven't heard of them try them out, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!http://www.kingsofleon.com/Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam made a surprise appearance for one song, everyone in the crowd about hit the ceiling!Caleb - Lead Singer

Jared - Bass

Nathan - Drums.....Unfortunatley Matt (guitar) didn't come out :(

Our Little Bookworms!

Haleigh really loves reading her books and being read to. Almost everyday she sits in her bed with her "reading pillow" and looks at books for at least a half hour. Ashton is even starting to like books. After Ashton got up from his nap one day Haleigh decided she wanted to read to him, so they spent some special sister/brother time reading together. It was really sweet!

Look how interested he looks!

Best Friends!

Who Is Who??

Can you figure out which on is Haleigh and which one is Ashton? In these pictures Haleigh is 7.5 months and Ashton is one day before 7 months. Both love their baths (as you can tell by the way they are so excited to get in!).

If you guessed that Ashton is the top picture you are right! They look so much a like, it is crazy!
